Clip-in panels are usually opened individually with a special tool. A small deviation in the module in a large space quickly becomes visible, especially when the lines of the panels intersect with the showcase, the floor seam or the rhythm of the furniture.
White and light gray colors enhance the perception of purity and height. Dark tones visually soften the ceiling and allow for less noticeable integration of engineering elements. When choosing a metal, wood texture or individual RAL solution, it is necessary to evaluate the sample in real lighting, as sunlight, warm LED and showcase lighting show the same color differently.
The direction of the panel is also a technical decision. Modules placed along a long corridor give the space dynamics, while the direction transverse to it visually shortens or expands it. The architect must make this choice in conjunction with the axes of engineering revisions, diffusers and linear lights.
Lighting integration
The quality of the ceiling is often reflected around the light. If the cut is made on the spot, without prior coordination, the rigidity, rhythm or surface accuracy of the panel may be violated. Therefore, point, panel and linear LED lighting should be included in the working drawing along with the panel module.
Linear lights are particularly effective in a Clip-in system, as they can either follow the geometry of the panels or, conversely, create a deliberately contrasting direction. Acoustics, humidity and safety – what to consider

If there is a requirement for noise, echo or speech intelligibility in a space, the perforated panel, acoustic mat and overall ceiling composition need to be evaluated. For example, in an open-plan office, a beautiful metal surface alone may not be sufficient, while in a restaurant the acoustic task is often determined by a combination of music, guest conversation and ceiling height.

Before installation, the base ceiling levels, column geometry, display case axes, ventilation heights, and all other nodes that may affect the placement of the hangers are checked. It is also important who is responsible for engineering cuts and how the panel is removed and returned after service.
These details reduce the uncertainty that arises when comparing prices. At first glance, identical offers may differ in metal thickness, coating quality , suspension system, installation scope, and subsequent service responsibility. A low initial cost does not always mean a low total cost if the object will later require frequent adjustments or difficult access to communications.
The choice of ceiling should match not only the rendering, but also the daily routine of the facility.
